JAMES BLAKE - THE WILHELM SCREAM VIDEO

The second track taken from James Blake's self-titled album is the stunning Wilhelm Scream.
The video conveys perfectly the isolation and space of the track. James Blake continues to move us with everything he does.

MAKEITGOOD X FAT KID ON FIRE #24

The Makeitgood X FKOF mixtape series has always been intriguing. Always switching up genre's and with some heavyweight names as well as some great new discoveries, they always deliver.
We were really pleased when they hooked up with OPT1K about doing another mix in the series, as well as an interview.

You can listen to the mix in full here:
OPT1K x FatKidOnFire minimix by FatKidOnFire

The mix includes some old classics, some new favourites, as well as two new OPT1K tracks.

Heard this a while back on the Girl Unit XLR8R podcast. Amazing track, and an amazing mix.

DEADBOY - LONG WAY TO GO

Huge track from DIALECTICS favourite Deadboy.
Deadboy takes an already classic track, slows it down and adds some dark garage vibes. Amazing stuff.

MOUNT KIMBIE - BEFORE I MOVE OFF VIDEO

Created using a mind blowing amount of photographs, director Tyrone Lebon has created a piece of art as good as the track. The track is one of the best from the critically acclaimed album Crooks & Lovers. Enjoy

BIRTH OF A GALAXY

For any of you that have been watching BBC's Stargazing Live, you were no doubt amazed by this image from the European Space Agency. The image shows the birth of a galaxy, you can find it just south of Orion's Belt, it looks like a little blurry star. The image is incredible, it shows the beginnings of new stars (the red/orange glow) as well as evidence of Black Holes (blue/white glow). It also shows us proof that at the centre of every galaxy is a giant black hole.
As an amateur astronomer living in London, I don't really ever see much, so this was great!
